Summer Drama Camps & Classes
New! Creative Theatre Class
Ages 4-7
When: Starting April 5th, Mondays 4:30-5 pm. Year round (spring, summer, fall).
Cost: $36 for a 4 class “Toddler” punch card.

Deadline & Requirements: None. However, class size is limited to 8 children, so early registration is recommended! After the class fills, we keep a waiting list. Children who do not attend class for more than 3 classes in a row without communication to the academy will be bumped from the class and the first name on the list will be given the option to fill the spot.
About the Class: Children who love to express themselves creatively and use their imagination will LOVE this class! Students will enjoy learning basics in theatre through fun drama games and exercises perfect for this age group. We teach children how to use their bodies and voices to create characters, animals, and objects, while also learning speaking skills, confidence and social skills. This is a fun, structured class for any budding performer!
Intro to Theatre Drama Camp
Ages 8-12
When: July 6-29th 3:30-5 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus performing at Homer Davenport Days (first weekend in August).
Cost: $150, plus a $10 registration/script fee.

Deadline: Script fee is due on or before June 28th to guarantee placement. Class size is limited to 20; early registration is recommended!
Requirements: No previous experience required. Must be able to read. Please be sure you have the first weekend in August available to perform at Homer Davenport Days in Silverton.
Camp Includes:
- Learn basic acting skills such as character building, public speaking, pantomime, memorization skills, and more!
- Participate in a play with classmates, wear costumes and perform locally for public at conclusion of camp!
- Make friends and fun memories!
- Students may keep scripts at conclusion of camp.
Triple Threat Performers Camp Improved!
Ages 12-20 (or by directors approval)
When: July 6-29th. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5-8 pm. Plus performances in August.
Cost: $400, plus a $10 registration/script fee.
Instructors: Marta Stovin, Lisa Gerlits, Emily Hanson-Gifford, Corin Parker and guest instructors.
Deadline: Script fee is due before or by June 28th to guarantee place. Class size is limited to 20; early registration is recommended!
Requirements: New! No audition required! No experience required, though it is helpful. There are performance opportunities every weekend in August. Please make sure you have at least one weekend in August free to perform with classmates. If you can perform at all of them, you are welcome to!
Camp Includes:
- Master acting and pantomime skills at a more advanced level.
- Learn choreography and basic dance steps most commonly used in musical theatre through chorus numbers, including partnering and tricks!
- Obtain vocal skills and learn techniques for proper projection, singing, accents and dialects.
- Learn and master how to prepare for professional auditions; writing performance resumes, how to take head shots (includes photo session with professional photographer!), how to choose, prepare and perform the right monologues and songs, and learn what directors are/aren’t looking for.
- Learn basic costuming; sewing and crafting techniques, recycling common attire for costuming, and more! Includes “shopping” outing at local thrift stores to learn what to look for.
- Practice stage combat technique for safe execution and accuracy, such as sword fighting, falling, fighting and more….
- Learn to apply your own stage make-up application for basic, aging, characterization, and for special lighting.
- Camp participants will learn musical scenes/numbers from popular musicals and will have an opportunity to perform locally at Homer Davenport Days, Silverton Fine Arts Festival, Oregon State Fair and Farmers Markets.
- Includes exclusive “Triple Threat Performer” T-shirt.
Students will need to supply:
- A binder and a blank CD (music writable)
- Dance attire – Girls: either a leotard or exercise top, with jazz pants and character shoes. Boys: fitted t-shirt, jazz pants and black jazz shoes. (Available for order or purchase at AAPAC boutique)
- A personal stage make-up kit (available for order or purchase at AAPAC boutique). Needs to include: (to match skin tone) Creme Foundation, Four Color Contour Palette with Creme Rouge, Highlight, Shadow and Lip color, Face Powder, Powder Puff, Eyebrow Pencil, Flat Brush, Sponge Applicator, Stipple Sponge. Preferred brands are Ben Nye or Mehron. (Cost through AAPAC is $16.)

Punch cards are for Belly Dancing 1, 2, or 3, Modern, Conditioning, Adult Tap, Adult Ballet, and Drumming. Cards don’t expire. We keep the cards on file at the academy and only punch them when you attend class. This is an economical way to attend class when you can, without losing money if you miss class!
New! Unlimited Adult Monthly Pass $140.00 $8.75 or less per class (4 or + classes a week). Gives ONE Adult unlimited access to any classes they sign up for! Recommended for the active performer that takes 4 or more classes with us a week. Not to be used for multiple members.
Children’s Class Payment Options
