Fitness Classes


 

Fitness classes have three different payment options available for your convenience.

Monthly membership of $55 (unlimited classes!), $60/10 class punch card, or $6 drop in rate.

Memberships

Our Monthly Fitness Membership is $55 a month and gives every member the oportunity to sign up and take an unlimited number of "fitness classes" per month. Once a member has signed up for a class (specific day and time), they have a reserved spot in that class for the duration of their membership. Our membership gives the biggest bang for your buck! If you take every fitness class we offer, it breaks down to under $2 per class! However, the membership is $55 a month whether you come to 28 classes or 1.

Punch Cards

10 class Fitness Punch Card is only $60!

Punch cards offer the convenience of flexibilty to your schedule and budget, and can be used for ANY adult class at AAPAC (dance, music, etc). Cards don't expire; what you don't use carries over until used up. Cards are recommended for those fitness students who only wish to take one class a week, or only on occasion (if you know you can't consistantly attend classes weekly). We keep your card on file at the reception desk and only punch your card when you take a class. No need to remember to bring your card or present it!    

ZUMBA!

Ages teen-adult

Instructors: Emily Eikleberry and Darby Carkeek, Licensed Zumba Instructors. See our term schedule for details on who teaches which days/times.

Deadline & Requirements: Class size is limited to 30 students. No previous experience is required.

Uniform: Comfortable attire that allows you to stretch and move freely. You may also want to bring a hand towell for sweat and a water bottle!

About the Class:

  • Each class is 1-hour in length. We offer several class times all week.
  • Great for dancers and non-dancers alike!
  • The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away!
  • Zumba fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast!
  • 70% Of the music used in this class is of ethnic origins, but it also mixes some popular music, ALL with a beat that's hard to resist!
  • Zumba has spread like wild fire throughout the world is widely popular!

Conditioning

Ages 8-adult

Instructor: Darby Carkeek

Deadline & Requirements: Class size is limited to 15 students. No previous experience is required. Ladies and Gents welcome!

Uniform: Comfortable attire that allows you to stretch and move freely.

About the Class:

  • Pilates and yoga combo class!
  • One 1-hour class offered per week.
  • Great for dancers and non-dancers alike!
  • Strengthen the entire body with a focus on the core muscles (abdomen, back, hips, buttocks, and thighs) through Pilates exercises both on the balance ball and floor.
  • Lengthen and develop lean muscles with out “Floor Barre” series of ballet movements. These are done solely by laying on the floor. Gravity adds weight to your movement while lying down is gentle on your joints.
  • The class ends with a series of stretches for the entire body.
  • Leave class feeling invigorated, toned and relaxed!
  • Set to popular music, both upbeat and relaxing, of all styles and genres.
  • Limited number of yoga mats and balance balls are available for borrowing at the studio.
